née Nadeshda Schnitkind, emigrated to Palestine in the 1930's and together with her husband Ernst Taussig founded a German literary salon in their private home. The meetings in this salon lasted until the late 1980's. Max Brod, Arnold Zweig, Schalom Ben Chorin, and many others frequented this salon and introduced their literary work.
