Organisation for Rehabilitation through Training, now known as ORT (Organization – Reconstruction – Training), is a nongovernmental organization founded in Russia in 1880 as the “Society for Manual and Agricultural Work (among Jews).” Over the course of its more than 100-year history, well over a million people have completed educational programs at ORT.
