Dr. Lisa Sophie Gebhard is a historian and research associate at the Moses Mendelssohn Center in Potsdam, where she is coordinating an international publication project on the history of the German-Jewish Diaspora. Her past research focused on the history of Zionism, including co-editing the anthology German-speaking Zionism(s). Advocates, Critics and Opponents, Organizations and Media (1890–1938). Most recently, her dissertation was published and presented at the Leipzig Book Fair in 2023 under the title Davis Trietsch - A Forgotten Visionary. Zionist Ideas for the Future between Germany, Palestine and the USA. She lives with her family in Berlin.
