Journalist and writer for the left-liberal press of the Weimar Republic and exile newspapers. Emigrated to Paris in 1933, interned in the Gurs camp from May to June 1940, went underground in France from 1940 to 1942, and made it to Switzerland in 1942 on her third attempt to flee.
